Mithu Storoni

Mithu Storoni is a qualified medical doctor trained in eye surgery who has an extensive background in neuroscience research. Her research into the visual brain kindled her interest in cognition and perception and inspired her to write Stress-Proof: The Scientific Solution to Protect Your Brain and Body—and Be More Resilient Every Day, a science-based guide to coping with stress. Dr. Storoni regularly advises financial institutions around the world on stress management strategies. Her work on stress has been featured by the BBC, the Times, the Guardian, the London Evening Standard, the Chicago Tribune, Forbes, and Inc., both prior to and during the current pandemic. Previously, Dr. Storoni served as a clinical research fellow at the National Hospital of Neurology and Neurosurgery. She received her medical degree from the University of Cambridge.
