Wolfgang Münchau

Wolfgang Münchau is associate editor and European economic columnist for the Financial Times and runs eurointelligence.com, an internet service providing daily comment and analysis of the euro area. Previously, he was a correspondent for the Financial Times and Times of London. Mr. Münchau was also one of the founding members of Financial Times Deutschland, the German-language business daily. He has published three German-language books, including Vorbeben, which received the 2008 getAbstract business book award from getAbstract.com. Additionally, the Wincott Foundation named Mr. Munchau the 1988 Young Financial Journalist of the Year. He holds degrees from Reutlingen University, University of Hagen, and City University, London.
