Kevin Gardiner
Kevin Gardiner is managing director of research, economics, and strategy at Barclays Wealth, where he is a member of the investment committee that shapes asset allocation views for client portfolios. Previously, he was global head of equity strategy at the investment banking arm of HSBC. In 1994, Mr. Gardiner produced the original “Celtic Tiger” report on the Irish economy while at Morgan Stanley. He began his career in the economics division at the Bank of England. Mr. Gardiner holds a BSc degree in economics from the London School of Economics and an MPhil degree in economics from Cambridge University.
