Christian de Boissieu

Christian de Boissieu is chairman of the Conseil d’Analyse Economique (Council of Economic Analysis), advising the French prime minister and government on economic and social issues, and professor of monetary and financial economics at the University of Paris. Previously, he taught at the College of Europe (Bruges) and served as a consultant to the World Bank, the European Commission, and the European Parliament. Professor de Boissieu is a regular columnist for newspapers in France and abroad and has published many books and articles in the field of monetary, banking, and financial analysis and economic policy. He holds a PhD in economics from University of Paris.
