Charles Dumas

Charles Dumas is chairman of Lombard Street Research. Previously, he held a number of positions at JPMorgan, including managing director of mergers and acquisitions and head of research. Mr. Dumas also served as European economist for General Motors, London, and worked on tax reform for the Conservative Party in the United Kingdom. He was a journalist for The Economist and remains a regular contributor. Mr. Dumas is author of the books Globalisation Fractures and China and America: A Time of Reckoning. He is also co-author of the books The American Phoenix and The Bill from the China Shop. Mr. Dumas frequently appears as a commentator on news networks such as Bloomberg and CNBC.
