Andrew Balls
Andrew Balls is a managing director at PIMCO’s London office, where he leads its European investment team and manages European and global portfolios. Previously, he was a global portfolio manager at PIMCO’s Newport Beach office and the firm’s global strategist. Mr. Balls has also lectured in economics at Keble College, Oxford University, and worked at the Financial Times, where he served as editor of the U.S. Lex column and chief economics correspondent in Washington, D.C. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Oxford University and a master’s degree from Harvard University.
